The President of the International Hockey Federation (FIH), Tayyab Ikram, has extended his warmest congratulations to Kirsty Coventry on her historic election as President of the International Olympic Committee.
In his statement, President Tayyab highlighted the significance of this milestone, as Coventry becomes the first woman to lead the IOC, reinforcing the organization’s commitment to gender equality – a value shared by FIH and the broader hockey community.
