Junior Men's Pan American Championship 2016

The Pan American Hockey Federation (PAHF) is pleased to call your National Teams to participate at the Junior Men’s Pan American Championship 2016 that will take place at the city of Toronto, Canada from 20 to 28 of May 2016.

This tournament is a Continental Junior World Cup Qualifier. All PAHF member nations are entitled to join the competition. The winner and the runner-up countries will qualify to the FIH Junior Men’s World Cup 2016. The plan of competition and fixture will be released by the PAHF Competitions Committee, after confirmed entries.

The most current FIH Outdoor Rules and FIH Outdoor Tournament Regulations will be followed for the competition and will be the reference for detailed information. According to the PAHF Financial Responsibility Chart, each National Team will pay to the PAHF a non-refundable inscription fee of US$500,00 (five hundred American dollars), plus the deposit fee of US$2500,00 (two thousand and five hundred American dollars) which will be refunded upon teams participation.

DEADLINE TO CONFIRM PARTICIPATION: 11th of DECEMBER 2015 – 23h59 EST
IMPORTANT: Team entries are confirmed upon the payment of the inscription fee and deposit.
ENTRIES AND RESPECTIVE PAYMENTS ARE MADE TO THE PAHF.

The Organizing Committee from Canada will assist National Associations with the arrangements for accommodation, meals, transport and any other issues that may arise. Information will be released soon. Also, the PAHF Event Coordinator, Laura Macchiotti (pahf@lauramac.com.ar), will be available to provide information, support and address demands regarding the participation at the Event.

Rene Granat receives PAHF Order of Merit

In Toronto, during the Pan American Games 2015, Rene Granat, former president of the Venezuelan Hockey Federation and Director of the PAHF from 1995 to 2013, was nominated to receive the "Order of Merit" for his dedication to Pan American Hockey.
