The men’s and women’s Junior Pan American Championships will be bursting into life on 21 August in Santiago, Chile, as seven men’s and six women’s teams contest the title and qualification for the Junior World Cups, which take place in India (men) and South Africa (women) at the end of 2021.
The Netherlands added the Olympic gold medal to their World, European and FIH Hockey Pro League titles thanks to a 3-1 victory over Argentina, bringing a wonderful Hockey competition at the Olympic Games Tokyo 2020 to a close.
The Olympic hopes and dreams for the Pan American Hockey Federation this year rest with two nations – Argentina and Canada.
