Parahockey is launched at the Youth Olympic Games

After the Youth Olympic Games Hockey 5 semi-finals, on October 13 at 6 pm, all the focus in the Olympic Park of Villa Soldati will be on the Parahockey.

Following the schedule of the day, the public will be able to stay at the stadium and enjoy one more match: the Pan American Hockey Federation (PAHF) will launch its Parahockey program with “Las Lionas”, a local team that promotes inclusive hockey.

This will be the official presentation of this new PAHF program, in collaboration with the International Hockey Federation, which aims to encourage the development of sport for people with intellectual disabilities.

“Las Lionas”, in addition of forming a team to play, have the opportunity to play at  the Olympic pitch with the support of Leonas and Leones as part of this international event.

Support inclusive hockey!

Saturday, October 13, 6:00 pm (the end of the competition's schedule) at the Olympic Park's Hockey’s court.
