The afternoon of the Hockey Series Open was really intense and full of hockey with three great games Venezuela vs Uruguay, Chile vs Peru and Bolivia vs Brazil .
Neither the intermittent rain, that at times was very intense, and the hailstones were able to suspend games full of emotion.
Brazil's triumph against Bolivia
With 22 goals in total, Brazil tookover Bolivia in a game were the Vedeamarellos control every situation and scored.
High intensity, this was the match that Bolivia faced , just remember, their first internacional Match was a couple of months Ago in Cochabamba and now Bolivia is working with their teams in order to keep growing hockey.
Brazil's goals were converted by Lucas Paixâo (x7), Matheus Borges (x5), Joaquin Lopez (x2), Adam Imer (x2), Bruno Bitencourt (x2), Patrick Van Der Heijden, Vincius Vaz, Fabio Assis and Yuri Van Der Heijden
Venezuela is celebrating!
A long trip was the one that venezuela undertook to get to Chile to participate in the Hockey Series Open. The trip took about four days and today in their first match on the PWCC court they celebrated a 2-0 against The 'Cimarrones'
The score was opened by Andy Adrián , that with a great definition in the 19th minute made the Venezuelan bench explode with a massive celebration.
Despite how tight the match was during the first two quarters, Cristián Vargas managed to score again and gave Venezuela the second goal of the day.
The intensity and pressure of both teams did not give up until the last minute, which even ended with a penalty corner six seconds after blowing the final whistle.
Chile seals its first day
The last match of the day, was led by the locals - Chile - who were playing against Peru.
During the four quarters of time, those led by Jorge Dabanch dominated the game and managed to make the first difference in the scoreboard after Franco Becerra capitalized two different situations and gave Chile 2 goals.
José Maldonado, Nicolás Renz, Vicente Goñi, Pablo Purcell and Sven Richter added five goals to extend the difference 7-0.
The men's day will continue this Wednesday beginning with Venezuela who will meet at 2:00 PM against Bolivia, at 4:00 PM Brazil versus Peru and Chile vs. Uruguay.

PAHF announces teams qualified for 2019 Pan American Games

Top PAHF performance comes from the 'third team'
The PAHF presence at the Women's World Cup in London was spearheaded by two groups who had very good reason to be viewing the event with huge anticipation. Las Leonas have been building their team since a below par performance at the 2016 Rio Olympic Games. Also heading to London with their hopes high was USA. Ranked seventh in the world, the USA were hoping to emulate or better their best ever World Cup performance – a bronze in 1994.
